Doed my canvas include all the thread I need?
Thread is not included with any needlepoint canvas, unless explicitly stated otherwise. You can see which items include thread and which don't, since it is clearly mentioned in the item description. Also, those items are generally called "kits", which is a needlepoint-industry term that means thread is included in the purchase price.
For all other products, you will need to match threads and purchase them separately. To make this easier for you, many of the canvases come with color swatches along the side, or along the bottom. Some of them even specify the DMC color code, which makes it even easier. Furthermore, make sure to check out the products that come with Stitch Guides, as these useful mini-books will often make thread suggestions along with all the other helpful instructions. I can't find where you sell threads, can you direct me?
All needlepoint canvases are sold without thread (see previous question). Currently, Judaica Needlepoint does not sell threads on the website, but this might change as we expand our product line.
I'm looking for hand-painted needlepoints, but I can't seem to find any. Do you only sell printed canvas?
Judaica Needlepoint deals mainly with printed canvas. Many needlework shops claim that handpainted needlepoints are better than printed ones; however, we do not subscribe to this myth, and here's why. In fact, we can assure you that the quality of our printed canvases are far superior than many handpainted ones. We have reviewed many different designers that do printing and have narrowed down only those whose work is indistinguishable from painted pieces. Even by looking at them closely, you wouldn't be able to tell that they are printed and not painted. All canvases be produced on thick, high-quality cotton weave, such as Zweigart Mono Deluxe. Printing uses special treatment, and top brand-name inks, which were tested to ensure the color lasts as long as possible. These are the new needlepoint canvases of the digital age.
High-quality printed canvas is produced far less expensively and much faster than painted canvas. Designers will ask for a 6-week turnaround period to deliver handpainted canvas. Can you change the (color | font | text) on this canvas?
Why not? Just use the Contact Form to request a customization. We will arrange for your change to be made for a small fee. Note that these orders do take more time to ship than the standard in-stock designs.
Examples of some of the customizations you might do are image resize, rotation, changes to text or fonts, and color changes. More extensive customizations, or a custom canvas created to spec, are priced on an individual basis.

How long does it take before my order is delivered to my home?
If you place your order today, it will be packaged and shipped out on the next business day. If you selected the free shipping option during checkout, the order is shipped using U.S.P.S. First Class mail. A quick and easy rule of thumb for estimating the time of arrival is to use the first digit of your zip code. For example, if your zip code begins with 5, you will usually wait 5 days and your order will arrive.
You may want to opt for Priority Mail, available during checkout, if you want to get it faster. Priority Mail takes about 2-3 business days to deliver.
